As we get ready to start a new year, we wanted to reflect back on 2025, a year of great challenges and uncertainty. We addressed these challenges by organizing social and professional development events, sharing job postings in the newsletter and social media, and writing informative blog posts.
Special thanks to everyone on the DC EcoWomen Board who helped to organize events, wrote blog posts, worked on newsletters and social media posts, and more. Also thanks to everyone in the community who contributed raffle items, organized events with us, and helped our community grow and thrive. Please show your support for these organizations and businesses: Community Forklift, DCEFF, DC Public Library, Mission Dupont, Reservoir Center for Water Solutions, Salazar, Teaism and Women's Aquatic Network.
2025 Events

In 2025, we hosted 17 events with over 700 registered attendees. Our events focused on social events like hikes and community happy hours along with professional development events, including a resume and career pivot workshops. Have event ideas for 2026? We would love to collaborate with other organizations and businesses to organize local events. We are also evaluating interest in virtual events. Email your event ideas to info@dc.ecowoment.org.
