Nash Run Trash Trap Sorting Challenge — Join DC EcoWomen & Anacostia Watershed Society

Join a group of DC EcoWomen for a hands-on volunteer opportunity with the Anacostia Watershed Society! We’ll help sort and analyze trash collected from the Nash Run trash trap, which captures litter before it can make its way into the Anacostia River.
 

  • Date: Saturday, September 12th

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Location: Nash Run Trash Trap (Anacostia Ave NE & Douglas St NE, Washington, DC 20019)

  • Registration: Please register individually through the event page to reserve a spot. Space may be limited, so we encourage you to sign up in advance. After signing up, reach out to community@dc.ecowomen.org to let us know you're coming so we can all meet up as a group!

Join DC EcoWomen for WELLderness Sound Healing & Mindfulness

Join us for WELLderness Sound Healing & Mindfulness with Christine Maila at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. Take a pause from your busy week and spend your Sunday reconnecting with yourself, nature, and the DC EcoWomen community. This guided experience offers an opportunity to slow down, practice mindfulness, and relax through the restorative sounds of a sound healing session.
