Book Club: Letters from Yellowstone

RSVP

Next month’s Book Club pick is Letters from Yellowstone by Diane Smith.

This book is the story of a woman who explores the nature of science when she joins a team of scientists and journeys West for a summer of field work throughout Yellowstone.  She takes her love of botany and a passion for adventure into the backcountry, where she sees herself and colleagues in a new light.

Remember, you don’t have to finish the book to join us!

Where

At the cozy home of a DC EcoWomen member in Capitol Hill, a short 5 blocks east of Union Station.  The exact address will be emailed to those who RSVP.

We can’t wait to see you there, but please remember that because this is a limited seating event, other EcoWomen on the waiting list will appreciate you telling us if your plans change and prevent you from coming.  In that case, please cancel your reservation on this page or notify books@dc.ecowomen.org.

Potluck

Because we love to share good food and good thoughts, this event is also a snack potluck. You are invited (but not required) to bring a snack to share.  In the spirit of roughin’ it in the West, we’ll be attempting indoor s’mores!
