Join DC EcoWomen on Tuesday, March 14 for an exclusive mentor dinner with Tracy Perkins, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at Howard University. In this intimate setting, you will get the chance to gain valuable insight on the evolution of environmental justice, work-life balance, and academia.  This is a women-only event and tickets are nonrefundable.

Tracy Perkins is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at Howard University. She specializes in social movements and the environment through a focus on environmental justice activism. Dr. Perkins publishes in traditional scholarly spaces and also uses photography and the digital humanities to share her work with multiple audiences. She has an M.S. in Community Development from the University of California, Davis, and a Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. See more of her work here.
