Green Lenses: Dirt! The Movie
Join Green Lenses for a screening of DIRT! The Movie. This documentary explores the wonders of soil, one of the Earth’s most valuable resources… and perhaps the most underappreciated. Made from the same elements as stars, plants, animals, and us, dirt is truly alive. But in modern industrial pursuits and clamor for profit and natural resources, our connection to and respect for soil has been disrupted. Drawing inspiration from William Bryant Logan’s book Dirt: The Ecstatic Skin of the Earth, the film shares the stories of experts from around the world and brings to life the environmental, economic, social, and political impact that soil has.
