Posted on 06/22/10Join us for a 7.5-mile loop hike in the mountains of Thurmont, Maryland, just a 45-minute drive from the Beltway!
We’ll climb up to several ridges with overlooks; eat lunch on one of the quartzite rock piles; and visit the largest cascading waterfall in Maryland. If the weather is hot, there’s an option go swimming afterwards in a nearby lake!
